**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst (Accounting Specialist) to join our team at FYidoctors. In this role, you will be responsible for performing monthly AR and cash reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and analyzing and resolving variances.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Prepare monthly outstanding AR and cash reconciliation reports for clinics.
  • Collaborate with clinics on outstanding issues, providing guidance and assistance.
  • Book monthly revenue and cash journal entries.
  • Investigate variances between the point of sale and financial system.
  • Complete bank reconciliations (approximately 30 bank accounts) and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Process patient refunds.
  • Perform a variety of month-end procedures, including preparing or approving manual journal entries and preparing working papers.
  • Analyze and reconcile variances between the general ledger, sub-ledgers and systems.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and support to clinics.
  • Assist with audits, special projects, and ad hoc projects as required.

**Requirements**

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of accounting or accounts receivable experience.
  • 1-2 years experience with AR reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • Experience in a high-volume environment with an understanding of accounting concepts.
  • Post-secondary Accounting related diploma/certificate is considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of ERP Systems (NetSuite would be considered an asset).
  • Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset.
