Job Summary:

The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for preparing general ledgers, journal entries, and managing accounts receivable and payable. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare general ledger and journal entries
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable
  • Perform financial calculations, such as costing and budgeting
  • Store, update, and retrieve financial data
  • Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV, accounting software, MS Excel, and MS Word skills
  • Ability to multitask, accurate, client-focused, excellent oral communication, organized, reliable, quick learner, and team player
