Audiology and Hearing Instrument Specialist Opportunity

Amplifon, a global leader in hearing care, is seeking a highly skilled Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team in Kamloops, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client care and providing personalized hearing solutions to individuals in need.

About the Role:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing tests and interpret results to recommend suitable hearing aid solutions
  • Counsel clients on the latest hearing aid technology and help them identify a solution that meets their needs and lifestyle
  • Build strong relationships with clients through a caring and personalized experience
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technology to provide ongoing hearing health education
  • Foster hearing healthcare awareness through community outreach and partnerships
  • Contribute clinical expertise to corporate initiatives and projects

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Audiology or diploma from a recognized Hearing Instrument Specialist program
  • Registered and in good standing with applicable regulatory college or provincial governing body
  • Current knowledge of hearing aid technology and devices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build professional rapport

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Ability to operate audiological equipment and fit hearing aid devices
  • Ability to move equipment up to 20 pounds
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and reaching
