About the Role

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Sechelt Hospital. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective services.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
  • Work under the direction of Registered Nurses to provide care for patients with unpredictable outcomes.
  • Maintain and advance clinical competence in accordance with the standards of practice for Licensed Practical Nurses.
About Sechelt Hospital

Sechelt Hospital is a 46-bed acute care facility serving over 30,000 residents of the Lower Sunshine Coast. Our hospital provides a range of services, including emergency care, renal programs, mental health and substance use services, surgical services, and imaging services.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively and physically perform the duties of the position.
