  • Dispensing and distributing medications, including individual patient prescriptions, ward stock, and narcotics, as well as non-sterile and sterile compounding, including TPN, CIVA, and chemotherapy preparation.
  • Managing inventory control and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A current license as a Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
  • Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably with a strong understanding of pharmacy operations.
  • Registration with the Canadian Association of Pharmacy Technicians is preferred.
  • Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Computer experience and the ability to work independently.
  • A strong attendance record and punctuality.
  • Experience in the manufacturing of sterile and non-sterile products is considered an asset.
  • Ability to travel between and work at all Osler sites.
