Pastry Chef and Decorator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef and Decorator to join our team at IGA. As a key member of our bakery department, you will be responsible for creating high-quality pastries, cakes, and desserts that exceed our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customers' needs and special requests by providing quality products that meet their expectations.
  • Promote sales in the bakery department by innovating and ensuring exceptional product variety and freshness.
  • Plan production efficiently to produce a quantity that meets the needs of the establishment.
  • Plan and control dry goods and perishable purchases to optimize quality, product production, and profits.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant experience in cake preparation and decoration, as well as a passion for learning and innovation. A professional degree in pastry is an asset, but not required. If you are a pastry chef looking for advancement, we offer training courses to help you develop your skills.
