Field Product Specialist

As a key member of the Evertz team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and support for our Live Media products. This challenging and rewarding position requires a unique blend of technical expertise and customer-facing skills, with a focus on providing timely and effective solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary support for Evertz' Live Media products, including troubleshooting and resolving operational issues, firmware upgrades, and general maintenance.
  • Collaborate with customers to assess product application, diagnose issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Communicate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and provide feedback to inform product design changes.
  • Install products or systems at customer sites and deliver training to customers in-house or abroad.
  • Support new customer opportunities through live product demonstrations and event support.

Qualifications:

  • Education in Broadcast, Electrical, Electronic, Computers, or related field is required.
  • Live production knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to travel internationally and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working in the broadcast environment, on-air broadcast operations, or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving ability and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Direct experience with IT networking, server hardware, and Linux.
