Utilize a specialized high duster to clean surfaces above shoulder height in a systematic manner. This includes fixtures such as lights, vents, and ledges. Ensure the high duster is maintained by brushing it clean after use.

Apply a germicidal solution to sanitize lower surfaces, including ledges, chairs, and countertops, moving in a methodical direction.

Restroom Sanitation:

Employ a germicidal solution to thoroughly clean all areas of the restroom, including sinks and toilets. Ensure that soap and paper dispensers are replenished regularly.

Waste Management:

Empty trash receptacles, ensuring to clean the interior if necessary, and replace liners as needed.

Floor Maintenance:

Use a treated dust mop or vacuum to maintain cleanliness on floors, ensuring to reach under furniture and in corners. Regularly check and clean outdoor areas, including ash urns and trash bins.

Common Area Upkeep:

Regularly dust and mop main hallways, ensuring that glass surfaces are cleaned multiple times throughout the day. Monitor for cobwebs and debris, addressing these issues promptly.

Food Court Cleaning:

Maintain cleanliness in dining areas by sanitizing tables, removing trash, and ensuring trays are cleaned and stored properly.

Quality Control:

After completing cleaning tasks, review the area to ensure all steps were followed and make necessary adjustments to maintain high standards.

Customer Interaction:

  • Knock before entering occupied spaces.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Report any maintenance issues to a supervisor.
  • Maintain a quiet working environment.
  • Adhere to assigned work areas unless directed otherwise.
  • Present a neat appearance at all times.

Additional Duties:

May include specialized floor care tasks such as stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning as directed by management.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of basic janitorial practices, safe work methods, and the use of cleaning chemicals is essential. The ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and operate cleaning equipment is required. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and maneuvering equipment, is necessary.
