Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at MyCare MedTech Inc. as a telemedicine healthcare professional. Our company provides episodic care for minor illness conditions, and we are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to help us deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:- Perform patient evaluations through our online telemedicine platform.
- Assess, diagnose, treat, order, and prescribe for patients of all ages.
- Recognize the benefits and limits of virtual care.
- Use online communication as a diagnostic and therapeutic tool.
- Work independently and provide counseling and education.
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses/College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta as a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner and member in good standing.
- Excellent health assessment/clinical skills.
- Ability to work remotely and have an internet connection.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge/experience in consultation and ethical decision-making.
- Excellent written documentation skills that are clear, thorough, concise, accurate, and timely.
- Accountable for own actions and decisions, comfortable making decisions within the scope of the position.
- Strong critical thinker who can confidently make evidence-based decisions.
- Comfortable with a telemedicine environment.
- Travel consultation experience (preferred).
- Multi-jurisdictional licensing (preferred).
- Job Type: Remote | Part-time | Flexible hours | Contract term open.
- Experience: Nurse Practitioner: 1 year (preferred).
- Expected hours per week: Minimum of 8hrs/week (2, 4hour shifts).
- Must hold a valid Canadian work permit.
