Your Role:

As a pivotal member of the Product Management team, you will be instrumental in executing product strategies, aligning roadmaps, and identifying enhancements for T-Net's services. Your efforts will ensure that our offerings address critical market needs effectively.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Product Manager (TPM) to take charge of specific components/features within T-Net's platform. You will collaborate closely with agile teams, fellow TPMs, and Product Management to fulfill the product roadmap, facilitating the development of new products and features.

In partnership with Product Management, you will define comprehensive business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for distinct features, working alongside Team Leads, Architects, and UI/UX designers to ensure the delivery of high-quality designs. Your responsibilities will include participating in daily stand-ups, managing the team's backlog, planning sprints, and overseeing key release activities such as documentation and training.

Your Responsibilities:

In a dynamic team setting, you will be responsible for:

  • Prioritizing and triaging incoming requests, assigning them to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Monitoring project statuses, stories, tasks, dependencies, and risks
  • Collaborating with the Product and DevOps Manager to share status updates
  • Addressing challenges by connecting relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinating meetings with external partners
  • Assisting in the creation of reports, Wiki pages, and other documentation to enhance project transparency
  • Taking ownership of the delivery for your assigned components/features
  • Working with senior product management, sales, support, clients, and other TPMs to manage your component's backlog and contribute to the product roadmap
  • Translating product initiatives and feature requests into detailed models, workflow diagrams, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborating with other TPMs, Architects, UI/UX, and Team Leads to drive requirements through the design phase
  • Identifying and managing cross-component dependencies throughout the development lifecycle
  • Actively removing obstacles in collaboration with Product Management, Development, and other departments to ensure timely progress
  • Prioritizing and refining your team's backlog
  • Participating in daily stand-ups and other Agile ceremonies with your product team
  • Sharing Scrum Master responsibilities with team members
  • Estimating work, tracking progress, and reporting status through burn-up/down charts and dashboards
  • Supporting various departments throughout the release process with training, documentation, and announcements
  • Understanding the design, business logic, and technical architecture of your platform components and their interactions
  • Serving as the primary product expert for your assigned components

About You:

  • 3-5 years of experience in project management or coordination
  • A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Flexibility in working with multiple teams on projects with varying degrees of structure
  • Ability to comprehend both technical and business requirements, accurately documenting technical notes for work tickets
  • Proven track record of effective collaboration with diverse groups
  • Experience managing multiple interrelated projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background as a software developer/engineer
  • Familiarity with Elastic Search, Kibana, Hadoop, and big data concepts
  • Experience with reporting tools
  • Previous work in a SaaS, messaging, or enterprise software environment
  • Proven ability to drive cross-team initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Strong skills in requirement elicitation, analysis, domain modeling, use case modeling, workflow design, and documentation
  • Experience in planning, monitoring, and reporting on project statuses across multiple initiatives/teams

Compensation: T-Net British Columbia provides a competitive salary range for this role, along with a corporate bonus, extended health benefits, and retirement savings matching.
