Position Overview:

We are currently looking for a Personal Insurance Advisor to enhance our Personal Insurance division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Address ongoing client requirements, provide insurance advice, perform needs assessments, recommend appropriate solutions, respond to inquiries, conduct follow-up calls, and manage renewals.
  • Generate new business by selling policies to both existing and prospective clients while maintaining an existing portfolio.
  • Initiate quotes for new business through outbound calls, introductory correspondence, and walk-in client interactions.
  • Engage with Underwriters and Adjusters to clarify guidelines and policies.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for insurers, complete client applications, issue insurance certificates, process changes, and review renewals.
  • Stay informed about underwriting regulations and workflow processes.
  • Actively participate in training programs.
  • Engage in community marketing efforts.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma and/or Post-Secondary education.
  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
  • Possession of a Level 1 General license or willingness to obtain one.
  • Familiarity with Epic software is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and credit assessment.
