We are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to join our team at Lamb Weston. As an Environmental Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the environmental sustainability of our operations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures to minimize the environmental impact of our operations.
  2. Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions to address environmental concerns.
  4. Develop and maintain environmental training programs for facility staff.
  5. Participate in environmental audit processes at other facilities.
  6. Review environmental data to identify trends and potential areas for risk reduction.
  7. Communicate environmental risks to facility operations leadership and corporate environmental leadership.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A Bachelor's Degree in Sciences, with a focus on environmental science or a related field.
  2. 5-7 years of progressive experience in the environmental field, with a focus on sustainability and compliance.
  3. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex environmental concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  5. A passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to minimizing the environmental impact of our operations.
