Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Construction Superintendent to lead our Underground Utilities team at Golderado Contracting Corp. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and directing crews to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Crew Leadership and Training: Provide leadership and training to General Foremen, Foremen, and other field staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Work closely with Safety Advisors to ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Construction Program Management: Direct the overall construction program of the project, ensuring it meets the required standards and specifications.
  • Productivity and Efficiency: Provide leadership to promote maximum productivity on site, identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a Superintendent role, with 3-5 years of Underground Utilities construction experience.
  • Certifications: Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09) Certificate, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance Level II, and Leadership for Safety Excellence.
  • Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Education: Completion of high school is required.
