Job Title: Superintendent - Underground Utilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team at Golderado Contracting Corp. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of underground utilities projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, schedule, and direct crews to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Provide leadership and training to General Foreman, Foreman, and other field staff.
  • Work with Safety Advisors to ensure that work is performed safely.
  • Plan the construction function to establish an effective organization.
  • Direct the overall construction program of the project.
  • Ensure that projects are meeting construction schedules.
  • Provide leadership to promote maximum productivity on site.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Superintendent role.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Underground Utilities construction.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Equipment Operator experience or other field experience is an asset.
  • Must have Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09) Certificate, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance Level II, and Leadership for Safety Excellence.
  • Software is heavily used within the organization processes; the candidate must have strong computer skills and have a history of working within software programs such as: Microsoft Office (Excel), and Proprietary Software.
Education:

Completion of high school is required.
