The Events Operator I is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events and conferences at Aramark. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Event Setup and Breakdown: Ensure that conference rooms and lounges are set up and broken down according to Aramark standards, safety rules, and sanitation policies.
- Customer Service: Provide high-level customer interaction and service to guests, responding to their questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Room Preparation: Set up, maintain, and break down rooms for food and beverage special events, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available and that the rooms are clean and well-maintained.
- Maintenance and Repair: Report any maintenance items to the maintenance team, completing work orders as necessary to ensure that the facilities are well-maintained.
- Supply Management: Ensure that all meeting room supplies are available and up-to-date, refreshing rooms after each meeting as needed.
- Teamwork and Communication: Work effectively with team members to ensure that events are executed smoothly and efficiently, communicating clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests.
- Time Management: Ability to budget time efficiently to ensure that all rooms are set and ready to go on time.
- Experience: One year of experience as a Banquet Set-up Person at a hotel is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Must be able to read, write, and clearly speak English.
This role may require physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
