We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Competition Concrete Inc.

Job Summary:

The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring that concrete surfaces are finished to a high standard, meeting the requirements of our clients. This will involve working on a variety of projects, from residential to commercial, and requiring a high level of attention to detail and physical stamina.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement
  • Operating power vibrators to compact concrete
  • Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Working at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Imparting desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures
  • Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproofing, damp proofing and restoring surfaces
  • Repairing, resurfacing and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
Work Environment:
  • Noisy work site environment
  • Outdoors work setting
  • Various locations
