About the Role
Humber River Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Oncology team in our Cancer Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to our patients with cancer, at all phases of their cancer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver patient care, including administering medications, fluids, and cancer treatments such as chemotherapy.
- Work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in Oncology clinical trials and contribute to the development of new treatments and care protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Experience in Oncology nursing, with a focus on cancer care.
- Completion of DeSouza Oncology courses or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
