Campus Ministry Associate, Trinity Western University

Role Overview

The Campus Ministry Associate is tasked with engaging students in spiritually enriching experiences through ministry initiatives that cultivate personal connections and discipleship in alignment with our mission and values. This role involves the implementation and execution of a compelling vision for Campus Ministries that resonates with the University's ethos. Sensitive to the distinct needs of students, faculty, and staff, the Campus Ministry Associate will exemplify Christ-centered outreach, discipleship, pastoral care, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Outreach

Devise and execute a strategy for outreach;Engage all students with the gospel and empower them to share it.

Scriptural Engagement

Facilitate Bible study sessions;Offer a robust discipleship program.

Community Building

Organize events to strengthen relationships among students, faculty, and staff;Establish collaborations with local congregations.

Worship Facilitation

Coordinate opportunities for student participation in worship services;Encourage student engagement in worship activities.

Prayer Initiatives

Oversee regular prayer activities across campuses.

Service Opportunities

Identify community service opportunities for students;Partner with outreach initiatives for community involvement.

Strategic Development

Create scalable ministry plans;Track metrics for assessment and enhancement.

Collaboration with Faculty and Student Leaders

Address the spiritual needs of students;Support faculty and staff in student engagement.

Proven success in outreach efforts;Extensive knowledge of biblical texts;Demonstrated leadership capabilities;Strong networking and community-building skills.

Qualifications

MDiv or MA in Divinity/Theology/Biblical Studies;Leadership experience within a church setting.
