Associate Director, Client Operations, Fund of Fund Custody

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to join our Client Operations team at MUFG Investor Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of custody trades and ensuring that all trades are executed as per the deadline without exceptions.
Key Responsibilities- Trade Execution: Review administrator documents for subscription, redemption, and transfer trades for clients, and ensure that all trades are executed as per the deadline without exceptions.
- AML and KYC: Prepare or assist team members in the AML and KYC packages as required by the respective administrators of the underlying funds.
- Team Management: Manage a team of 10-12 members, ensuring that all team members are following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and that all emails and third-party communications are responded to in a timely manner.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps and risks in current processes and take required steps to fill gaps and overcome risks, and liaise with internal IT teams to implement changes as needed.
- Client Liaison: Liaise with clients, third-party, and internal client operations teams for resolving queries and issues with respect to custody trade execution.
- Education: University degree in an accounting field.
- Experience: Experience with another fund administrator within the fund accounting space or the Investor Operations/relations team with an exposure to AML/KYC processes.
- Skills: Proficiency with using Adobe PDF is an asset, understanding of the Fund of fund business, excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, advanced investigative, and problem-solving skills, proactive approach, and flexible as per business needs.
