Canada Post Corp is seeking a skilled Mail Service Courier to join our team. As a Mail Service Courier, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of mail and packages to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Load and unload postal vehicles while maintaining the security of mail and company property.
- Collect, sort, and deliver mail to customers.
- Operate portable communication devices to facilitate delivery operations.
- Perform regular vehicle safety checks to ensure compliance with company standards.
- A valid Class 3/D driver's license with the appropriate provincial air brake endorsements.
- A safe driving record for at least 3 years, with a recent driver's abstract or commercial driver's abstract dated within the last 30 days.
- The physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb).
- The availability to work on short notice.
- Experience in customer service.
- Experience as a professional driver in commercial delivery.
- Experience driving a 5-ton truck or larger.
