Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cashier to join our team at 1413338B.C. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service while efficiently managing transactions.

Education Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Work Environment

The position is based in a retail business, where you will interact with customers daily.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the cash register and manage all transactions.
  • Process payments including cash, cheques, and credit/debit cards.
  • Scan items and ensure accurate pricing.
  • Calculate total payments for goods or services.
  • Receive payments and provide change as necessary.
  • Reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Welcome customers and assist them with their purchases.
  • Package merchandise appropriately for customers.
  • Handle foreign currency exchanges when required.
  • Verify customer age for restricted items such as lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco.
Security and Safety

A criminal record check is mandatory for this position.

Experience Requirements

Applicants should have 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
