Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a Fixed Equipment Mechanic to enhance our technical operations team. This position focuses on the upkeep and repair of electromechanical systems within a large commercial facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on the thermal power facility, including managing the chemical water treatment program.
- Evaluate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, documenting all actions taken.
- Maintain a detailed logbook of daily activities.
- Execute scheduled maintenance tasks as outlined in the client's preventive maintenance directives.
- Address technical service requests and record all interventions.
- Modify HVAC systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Diagnose basic operational issues related to HVAC systems.
- Perform minor repairs as necessary.
- Regularly inspect and replace air filters.
- Clean coils, water tower basins, heat exchangers, and screens.
- Adjust set points to ensure occupant comfort.
Qualifications:
- Possess a 4B Fixed Equipment Mechanic certification or equivalent.
- Skilled in building control software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in both French and English.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
