About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Technician to join our team at Amazon Data Services Canada, Inc. in Canada. As a Data Center Operations Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers, which are the backbone of our cloud computing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on data center equipment, including servers, storage systems, and network devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data center operations, including hardware and software problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data center operations, including IT, facilities, and security.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance data center efficiency and reliability.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 data center operations.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in data center operations, computer hardware troubleshooting, and repair.
  • 1+ years of experience in computer networking.
  • High school or equivalent diploma.
  • Experience working in a colocation data center facility is a plus.
