Job Summary

HSE Integrated is seeking a highly skilled and experienced H2S Safety Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our workers in hazardous environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct safety meetings with workers and clients to discuss site-specific safety protocols and procedures.
  • Setup and maintain breathing air and portable gas detection equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide site-specific orientations to new workers on emergency procedures and safety equipment locations.
  • Operate company vehicles in accordance with HSE policy and highway traffic laws.
  • Participate in emergency response planning and drills with clients and workers.
  • Provide on-the-job training to workers on the proper use of breathing air equipment and gas detection equipment.
  • Perform regular maintenance on HSE Integrated equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of personnel on-site and communicate with clients on day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure work areas are professional and well-maintained.
  • Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all personnel in the work area.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
  • Communicate regularly with Operations Coordinators on critical changes affecting dispatch.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with maneuvering trailers of various lengths.
  • Fundamental understanding of drilling, service, and completion environments.
  • Experience running breathing air systems.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as working at heights, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and long hours.

Certifications and Training

  • H2S Alive certification.
  • Standard 1st Aid/CPR certification.
  • Valid unrestricted driver's license.
  • Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) certification.
  • Energy Safety Canada common Safety Orientation (CSO) certification.
  • Fall Protection certification.
  • Fire Extinguisher Level I & II certification.
  • Confined Space Entry Monitoring certification.
  • Firewatch certification.
