About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Practice Leader to join our Pharmacy Team at Shuswap Lake General Hospital in Salmon Arm. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the administration, supervision, planning, and budgeting of the Pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical guidance to Pharmacy staff and ensure that standards for Pharmacy are consistent with regulatory, accrediting body standards, and relevant legislation.
  • Interpret and implement institutional and College of Pharmacists of BC regulations, policies, and procedures as they apply to Pharmacy.
  • Supervise and manage the Pharmacy department, including budgeting, workload, labour relations, and personnel.
  • Collaborate with local and regional pharmacy leaders, physicians, and nursing leaders to achieve overall goals and objectives.
