Compensation Range: $90,000-$110,000
Position Overview
The key function of this role is to negotiate terms for new business and renewals with various insurance markets. The Senior Marketing Broker serves as a crucial link between account executives and underwriters, ensuring that the requirements of both clients and underwriters are met while delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess risks for both new and renewal business in collaboration with underwriters.
- Prepare and submit proposals.
- Monitor the renewal process for an assigned portfolio.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with underwriters.
- Advise account executives on coverage options.
- Act as a technical expert in policy wording for the commercial team.
- Finalize new, renewal, and mid-term adjustments.
- Manage cover notes.
- Provide precise instructions for proposals, certificate issuance, and invoicing.
- Guide and offer technical assistance to the commercial team.
- Support Account Executives during client interactions.
- Participate in industry events and broker gatherings.
- Establish strong relationships with insurers.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a Level 2 General Insurance License.
- CAIB, CIP, or CRM designation is advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial brokerage.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with EPIC is a plus.
