We are seeking a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our care team in one of our beautiful care facilities.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal and nursing care to residents, performing assessments, and implementing care plans. They will also be responsible for administering medications, supervising care staff, and performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Perform assessments and develop care plans
  • Provide personal and nursing care to residents
  • Administer oral and subcutaneous medications
  • Supervise care staff to meet resident needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred)
