Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

RICHMOOR'S PIZZERIA is seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Communication: Excellent oral communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be interacting with customers, staff, and management on a daily basis.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the culinary team to achieve our goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment
  • Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and client focus
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
Work Setting:

This role is based in a fast-paced food service establishment, where you will be working in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.

Supervision:

You will be supervising a team of 3-4 people, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
