We are seeking a skilled and experienced Retail Meat Cutter to join our team at Fresh Bite & Meat. As a key member of our meat processing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Cutting and Preparation: Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to meet customer demands.
- Meat Packaging: Wrap and package prepared meats to ensure freshness and quality.
- Meat Processing: Remove bones from meat, weigh meats for sale, cut poultry into parts, clean and prepare fish and shellfish, cut fish into steaks and fillets, grind meats, and slice cooked meats.
- Meat Presentation: Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood to meet customer expectations.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn the skills required for the role.
- Work Environment: 40 hours per week, working in a fast-paced meat processing environment.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
