We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Manager to join our team at A&W. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, prepare and submit reports, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain a positive and welcoming environment for our customers.
- Operations: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, prepare budget and cost estimates, and establish work schedules.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and quality food. As a Shift Manager, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
