Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rolling Mill Operator to join our team at Magna Exteriors. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our rolling mill equipment, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain rolling mill equipment, including starting and shutting down equipment, monitoring oil and fluid levels, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Inspect and test products to ensure quality and accuracy, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and improve product quality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a technical field an asset.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Working knowledge of rolling mill equipment, including controls and tooling protection.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Valid Forklift and Crane licenses an asset.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Automotive manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and complete paperwork accurately.
