Job Summary

Excelone Staffing Services is seeking a skilled Garbage Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our waste management team, you will be responsible for operating various vehicles and equipment to collect and transport waste to designated facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operation: Safely operate garbage trucks and other equipment to collect and transport waste.
  • Route Management: Plan and manage routes to ensure efficient waste collection and minimize delays.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to residents and businesses, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and procedures, and reporting any incidents or near-misses to management.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, DZ class license, and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • Work Setting: Various locations, including residential and commercial areas.
  • Work Schedule: 44 to 48 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.
