As a Delivery Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering products promptly and professionally. You will also assist customers in the yard, prepare orders for delivery, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities:- Deliver customer products in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their needs in the yard.
- Accurately prepare orders for delivery, ensuring timely fulfillment.
- Maintain product knowledge to effectively advise customers on available options.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance checks on assigned vehicles and schedule repairs as needed.
- Safely load and unload shipments, utilizing appropriate equipment.
- Operate hand and/or controlled forklifts in accordance with safety regulations.
- Contribute to a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 lbs).
- Valid Class 3 Licence with Air endorsement is mandatory.
- Must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire.
- Experience operating a forklift is preferred.
