Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

IFG International Financial Group Ltd is looking for a **Senior Financial Reporting Analyst** with a strong background in legal entity financial reporting. This role offers a **hybrid work model**, requiring a presence in the office for a portion of the week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and compile precise financial statements and accompanying disclosures for both Canadian and US legal entities in accordance with **IFRS standards**.
  • Engage with various Business Units and the Tax department to facilitate the preparation of financial statements.
  • Assist in the review of legal entity statements and collaborate with external auditors during audit processes.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements, including the transition of financial statements to **Workiva**.
  • Work alongside the Accounting Research team to promptly address reporting and disclosure issues.
  • Support the preparation and review of tax step memos as necessary.
  • Take on additional reporting responsibilities and projects as they arise.
Qualifications:
  • A university degree along with a professional accounting designation (CPA is preferred).
  • A minimum of **8 years** of relevant experience in financial analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of **IFRS requirements**.
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Willingness to work in the office for a minimum of **3 days per week**.
