Job Summary

CPP Investments is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Security Architecture and Engineering to lead and expand our security engineering and architecture efforts.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be a strategic and technical leader, responsible for driving the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of our security architecture and engineering practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the Security Architecture and Engineering Team

Serve as the strategic leader for the security architecture and engineering team, providing direction and mentorship to a talented group of security professionals.

Design and Implement Robust Security Architectures

Lead the design and implementation of robust security architectures, ensuring they align with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Oversee the integration of security controls across all technology environments.

Conduct Security Assessments and Risk Mitigation

Conduct and oversee thorough security assessments, providing expert analysis and recommendations to stakeholders. Ensure that security risks are identified, communicated, and effectively mitigated.

Integrate Security by Design

Collaborate with technology, operations, and business teams to integrate security by design principles into all stages of development and operations. Effectively communicate security risks, strategies, and initiatives to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Drive Security Platform and Automation

Drive the design and implementation of security platforms, automation capabilities, and operational use cases to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of security operations.

Requirements

Education

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Experience

  1. A minimum of 15 years of experience in security architecture, engineering, or a related information security role.
  2. At least 4 years of leadership experience within a security architecture or engineering team.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on practical implementation.
  4. A passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest in cybersecurity trends and technologies.
