Clark Builders is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team in Vernon. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment such as Zoom Booms and Skid Steers on a commercial construction site.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Operation: Safely operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, zoom booms, and other equipment as required.
- Material Handling: Load and unload construction materials and move material to work areas.
- Equipment Maintenance: Complete daily inspections of equipment and communicate any concerns with the Superintendent.
- Site Support: Backfill, grading, and other duties as required.
- Quality Control: Circle and inspect equipment, complete inspection log, and check area for hazards.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
- Additional Duties: Perform additional job assignments as directed by the Superintendent.
- Professional Representation: Represent Clark Builders in a professional and respectful manner.
- Compliance: Adhere to Clark Builders policies and procedures.
- Physical Demands: Be in good physical condition, able to lift up to 50 lbs, sit and stand for extended periods of time, kneel, climb ladders, and walk on rough terrain.
- Certifications: Valid certification for Zoom Boom and Skid Steer.
- First Aid: Valid first aid certificate an asset.
- Other Certifications: Valid ESC Fall Protection, CSTS 2020, and WHMIS 2015 is an asset.
