Brandt Tractor Ltd is seeking a skilled Foreman to oversee daily operations at our Vernon Construction & Forestry location.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing and dispatching technicians, ensuring quality repair work, and advising the Service Manager on technician skills and training needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise the work of service technicians and maintain a clean work environment
  • Advise and mentor technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Commit to customer service and service excellence
  • Establish and maintain an on-call field schedule
  • Manage costs and ensure profitability of the department
  • Other duties as required

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills required
  • Candidates must be willing to be available after-hours
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Required Experience

  • Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment is an asset
  • Certified Journeyman in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade required
  • Experience in a service department setting required
  • Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products preferred
  • Forklift license preferred
