Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the overall physical condition of the property is maintained through regular upkeep and maintenance tasks.
  • Perform cleaning and repairs in both vacant and occupied units, including minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
  • Engage in physically demanding tasks that may involve the use of ladders, power tools, and lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Utilize knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated mechanical and electrical skills with the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
  • Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry principles.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate stairs.
  • Proficiency in PC applications (Word, Excel, email/web) is advantageous.

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in residential maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with tenant relations and residential tenancy legislation is a plus.
