Position Summary

We are currently looking for a proficient Level II Dental Assistant to join our dental clinic team. This role involves providing comprehensive dental care to military members as part of an integrated healthcare delivery team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support dentists and dental clinicians chairside during a variety of dental procedures.
  2. Conduct dental radiography.
  3. Execute a range of dental laboratory tasks.
  4. Ensure the sterilization and disinfection of dental instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.
  5. Maintain the dental operational environment and oversee the inventory of consumable supplies.
  6. Offer administrative assistance as necessary.
  7. Perform other related duties pertinent to this role.
Required Qualifications
  1. Graduation from an accredited Level II (Intra-Oral) Dental Assisting program is essential.
  2. Must hold a valid license in Good Standing as a Level II Dental Assistant with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants.
  3. Experience in performing intra-oral procedures and providing clinical support across various dental disciplines is required.
  4. Possession of (or ability to obtain) CPR Level C / AED certification is necessary.

  1. Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Reliability level Government Security clearance.
