Transportation Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

CB Canada is seeking a part-time Wash Bay Attendant / Bus Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will work 10 hours per week, with a shift schedule of Monday to Thursday, 2-3 hours in the evening.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean the interior and exterior of company vehicles, including transit buses and light-duty vehicles.
  • Clean interior and exterior bus advertising and back lighting, and report any non-functioning interior lights.
  • Replace interior and exterior advertising signs as instructed.
  • Perform miscellaneous building cleaning duties, including emptying trash cans and washing floors as assigned.
  • Sanitize buses in accordance with Provincial Health regulations.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a Class 5 unrestricted driver's license or higher.
  • Airbrake endorsement is considered an asset.
  • Ability to understand, speak, and write English to effectively communicate with the public and report incidents involving safety and/or service.
  • No criminal convictions or pending charges directly related to the Wash Bay Attendant position.
  • Previous cleaning or detailing experience is considered an asset.
  • Selected applicants will undergo a comprehensive recruitment process, including interviews, drug and alcohol screening, criminal record checks, and reference checks.
