Job Summary

Chanor Truck Repairs Ltd is seeking a skilled Commercial Transport Vehicle Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of commercial transport vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Review work orders
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Provide customer service
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Working Conditions

Work will be performed in a garage environment.
