Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Application Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the Application Engineering team
  • Collaborating with the sales team to achieve team objectives
  • Developing and evolving the team's structure, roles, and responsibilities to meet organizational needs
  • Providing guidance, training, and support to team members to ensure successful project execution
  • Establishing and revising processes to optimize operations based on business needs
  • Defining team performance indicators and implementing tools for tracking progress
  • Fostering a team dynamic that promotes collaboration, performance, and recognition
  • Encouraging innovation within the team by promoting openness, questioning, and challenge
  • Working closely with the Solution Client team to define team objectives and goals

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in application engineering
  • Experience in management - an asset
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing industry - an asset
  • Motivational leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Patience, dedication, and coaching abilities
  • Proficiency in English for communication with clients and suppliers outside of Quebec
