As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and develop your skills in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and related duties in accordance with established protocols and standards of practice.
- Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and education to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
- Graduate of a recognized/accredited North American program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasonography).
- Current certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and/or Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals (CARDUP) as required for the assigned practice area.
- Active membership in good standing with ARDMS and/or Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (CSDMS).
