LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

About the Role

As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely diagnostic testing and reporting. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to patient well-being and better health outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing
  • Perform, interpret, and release results while maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Identify incidents and non-conformities, participate in corrective action plans, and drive continuous improvement
  • Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new technology
  • Participate in problem-solving and workflow optimization
Requirements
  • College diploma or University degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent education and/or experience
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse individuals
  • Good computer skills and knowledge
  • Problem-solving skills, including issue identification and follow-up
  • Ability to maintain strict safety, patient privacy, and confidentiality standards
