About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at La Bosco Bakery & Cafe. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cafeteria and coffee shop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Training
    • Train and supervise staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Inventory and Record Keeping
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service or related role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
