Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Stanmore Equipment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and clean surfaces for painting, including sanding and repairing cracks and holes.
  • Mix and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as needed.
  • Operate airless spray equipment, brush painting, conventional spray painting, multi-ratio pump spraying, and roller painting.
  • Perform surface preparation tasks, including water/hydroblasting and sandblasting.
  • Specialize in coating and application, including aggregate painting, surface gilding, metallized coatings, and paint spraying.
  • Work with wood finishes, including glazing.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in painting and maintenance.
  • Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Reliability and strong teamwork skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with 35 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
