Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Birks, a luxury jewelry retailer with a rich history dating back to 1879. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and ensuring seamless store operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients and exceeding their expectations.
- Assist the Store Director in managing daily store operations, including sales, inventory, and staff management.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, increase customer engagement, and improve store profitability.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of Birks' products, services, and policies, ensuring accurate information is provided to customers.
- Collaborate with the Store Director to achieve sales targets, manage inventory, and control expenses.
- Ensure compliance with Birks' policies, procedures, and guidelines, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- 2-5 years of retail sales experience, preferably in luxury retail and/or jewelry.
- Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or other relevant field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
