Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage Nursing Staff: Supervise and coordinate the work of nursing staff, including orientations and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and Implement Care Plans: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of our residents.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Performance: Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff to ensure they are meeting the highest standards of care.
  • Provide Direction and Support: Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in the absence of the Director of Care.

Requirements:

  • Certification and Registration: Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario and registration with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario.
  • Experience and Skills: Previous experience in long-term care, with a strong understanding of nursing standards and principles. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
