Job Summary:

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Service Officer II to join our team in a 12-month contract position. As a Service Officer II, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of relevant transactions in a fast-paced banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow firm and industry regulations and operating practices in completing and recording transactions for either the firm or clients.
  • Adapt to a dynamic environment, working under pressure and handling high volumes of transactions.
  • Evaluate and escalate non-standard or high-risk transactions or other activities as appropriate.
  • Ensure documentation prepared/completed is accurate and properly reflects client/business intentions and is consistent with relevant rules/regulations.
  • Conduct investigations, report/escalate risk issues identified or process gaps.
  • Utilize system capabilities, ensuring upload/download of information is completed timely and accurately.
  • Assist in analysis, development, testing, and implementation of operating and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2-4 years related experience required.
  • Previous banking/financial experience.
  • Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTable, filters), write macros, computer language.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.

What We Offer:

  • 12-month contract with possibility of extension.
  • $19.81 per hour and 4% vacation pay.
  • Working onsite with the team.
