Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, educate clients and families, and provide counseling and consultation.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, risk management, and research, and provide orientation to new team members and Speech-Language Pathology students.
Requirements:
  • Current full registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of British Columbia.
  • Broad knowledge of evidence-based practice, other healthcare disciplines, and research methodology.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, operate related computer equipment, and prioritize workload.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job.
